Abstract

162,208. Grouchy, F. de. June 8, 1920. Ironwork, constructional.-Pieces of wood or metal are joined end to end by means of a dowel which may be corrugated and passes through borings B in the ends to be joined. The ends of this dowel are slotted at D<2>, and these slots are engaged by eccentric pins E' on the bases of conical plugs E which are rotatably mounted in recesses C leading to the borings B. The recesses may be closed by plugs C'.
