162,100. Martin, F. G. Jan. 29, 1920. Cleaning and pickling.-Condensers, feed-water heaters and like apparatus are cleaned by means or dilute nitric acid of not more than 5 per cent strength. The acid is circulated through the apparatus for the required time after which water is circulated to remove the acid.
