Guns.-A toy gun of the type in which a strip of caps is fed past a striker is arranged to explode the caps irregularly in order to imitate the irregular firing of an aeroplane gun. The body A of the gun is provided at the rear with a rotatable drum B which carries two cams B<2> that actuate a striker F. An endless strip D of caps passes around the drum and also around a peg E. Thus when the drum is rotated the striker is raised and dropped by the cams and explodes the caps, but the friction between the strip D and the peg E causes the strip to slip relatively to the drum so that the caps are exploded irregularly.
