Outlets to chimneys; dampers.-In a heating- apparatus boiler the chimney can be mounted either horizontally or vertically by means of a reversible connection which, in addition, embodies a damper fitting. The smoke outlet from the boiler, Fig. 2, is formed with a horizontal top and a vertical back each having a similar opening c and over these is secured a combined cover f and chimney sleeve e which is reversible as a whole. Bearings g at the angle support the damper spindle h, which is retained in place by the combined cover and sleeve and carries outside an indicator l.
