Abstract
157,063. Electric Outlet Co., Inc., (Assignes of White, E. C.). Jan. 10, 1920, [Convention date]. Two-part couplings.-A device for connecting an electrical appliance to an electrical circuit and mechanically supporting it by meams of the same elements comprises curved contact blades n, o entering curved slots in a receptacle containing spring clip contacts k, l with which the connections are established. Each curved contact blade in the form described is secured to a semicylindrical insulating member n<1>, o<1> and is independently inserted through its curved slot in an insulating face plate c. The two insulating members being brought together arc engaged by an internally screwed sleeve q to which the electrical appliance is connected and by which it is supported. By unscrewing the sleeve the coupling may be disengaged. The contact blades are not necessarily curved in opposite directions as shown.
