Abstract

156,840. Rudge, W. S. Feb. 26, 1920. Spray carburettors.- A variable, nozzle adapted to be applied as a unit to the base of the spraying chamber 10 of a carburettor comprises a cylindrical body 1 provided with a conical nozzle 2, and a screw-actuated stem 4 passing through the body and having a truncated conical upper end engaging the nozzle 2, the body 1 being provided with a seating la bearing against the base of the spraying-chamber and with a gland 9 surrounding the stem 4. The body 1 is provided with radial apertures 7 for the passage of fuel from the float chamber 8.
