Abstract

These curable mixtures based on epoxy resins contain a vicinal polyepoxide having an epoxy equivalent weight of greater than 1.8, a substituted bicyclic anhydride as curing agent, a polyether containing terminal ureide or amide groups and having a molecular weight of from 2000 to 3000, and optionally a curing accelerator. The mixtures can be cured to give resins which have excellent thermal shock resistance which is considerably better than that of known epoxy resins cured by means of anhydrides.
