Abstract

1537452 Frying egg mixtures TOSHINGIKEN KK 22 April 1977 [24 April 1976] 16853/77 Heading A4D Apparatus for frying omelettes comprises a number of frying pans 2 arranged around a rotatable support member 1, gas burners 8 on the support member for heating the frying pans, and a drive mechanism (5, 6, 7, 25) for intermittently rotating (through gearing 26, 29) the support member and also actuating (through gearing 27, 30) a pump 17 which supplies egg mixture from nozzles 23 to the frying pans. The apparatus includes frying pans which may be lifted about pivots for ejecting the omelettes and as in Fig. 7 (not shown), the pans may each be in two halves able to be pivoted one over the other. The egg mixture nozzles 23 are positioned over one half, Fig. 2 (not shown), of each two halved pan in turn and an air actuated piston and cylinder (21) causes the nozzles 23 to move from over the one half (9) to cover the other half (10), Fig. 5 (not shown), when a switch (41) is actuated.
