1537218 Pressed nickel electrodes YARDNEY ELECTRIC CORP 12 Aug 1977 [7 Sept 1976] 33944/77 Heading H1B A pressed Ni electrode comprises a current collector and a homogeneous admixture comprising an active Ni compound such as Ni(OH) 2 or NiO x , an electrically conductive diluent and an elastomeric binder which is butyl rubber or chloro- or bromo-butyl rubber in an amount between 1 and 5% of the admixture. The current collector may be apertured, or the admixture may be pressed into the collector to form a cohesive electrode.
