1537174 Umbrella like cover G R JONCKHEERE 21 March 1977 [8 April 1976] 11768/77 Heading E1A A tent or cover of umbrella like form comprises a central telescopic support pole raised by means e.g. of a central jack 5 which raising automatically spreads radial telescopic stays 17 as a collar 15 to which the stays are linked by struts 21 is raised along the pole by cable loops 13, 14 extending over pulleys 11, 12 and joined to the upper end of the lower fixed pole 1. Elastic chords (28) Fig. 1 (not shown) prevent the cover from being trapped between the stays on furling.
