Abstract

1534660 Gas turbine sealing STAL-LAVAL TURBIN AB 4 May 1977 [5 May 1976] 18632/77 Heading F1T Sealing between gas turbine guide vane shrouds 7, 8 and housing members 6, 1 is effected by annular plates 13, 14 respectively which slidably engage slots in the housing members and in rings 16, 17 secured to the shrouds. The ring slots are displaced axially relative to those in the housing members so that the plates are axially pre-stressed.
