Abstract

1533382 Furniture joints LB (PLASTICS) Ltd 17 Nov 1975 [16 Aug 1974] 36123/74 Heading F2M A plastics tubular member 11 (Fig. 1) may be joined to a bracket 10 by means of screws 15 passing through holes 12, 13 in the member and bracket and driven into a plug 14 of low density cellular material which is secured in the member by welding or adhesive. Two plastics tubular members 20, 21 (Fig. 2) may be joined by securing a plug 23 into the end of one of the members 20, cutting a hole 24 equal in size and shape to the cross-section of the member 20 in one side face of the member 21 and clamping the member 20 against the inner surface of the lower face 26 of the second member by screws 27 after passing the first member 20 through the hole 24.
