Abstract

1532724 Mounting wire-wrap connectors INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 23 Aug 1977 [27 Aug 1976] 35272/77 Heading H2E A multipolar wire-wrap connector assembly comprises a connector having sharp-edged posts 2, 3, 4, opposite ends of each extend from different sides of a supporting body 1, and two interchangeable mounting members 5, 6 for holding the ends of the body 1, one 5 of which members has a cable strain relieving means 28, 29 (and 27, Fig. 2, not shown). The connector may be of the type described and claimed in Specification 1,532,710. The mounting members 5, 6 slide on to respective ends of body 1 by dove-tail joints. Projections 19, 20 hold the mounts in place. The assembly is held in location in a cut-out of a wall by a groove 21 in one mounting member and the combination of a projection 22 and a resiliently mounted nose 24 on the other.
