Abstract
1532403 Hydrogen-generating device SOC ANON DITE COMPAGNIE GENERALE D'ELECTRICITE 23 Sept 1977 [4 Oct 1976] 39802/77 Addition to 1489054 Heading B1L [Also in Division Cl] In a hydrogen generating device, the hydrogen produced is separated from undissociated water vapour by means of a hydrogen selective membrane which may be a ceramic substance (e.g. alumina), but is preferably a porous ceramic substrate (e.g. alumina or zirconia) having a metal coating. The metal may be Ta, W, Mo, Pd or Ni, or a Ni or Pd alloy e.g. Ni-Fe, Pd-Ag or Pd-Cu.
