Abstract

1531719 Intruder alarms EMI Ltd 5 Dec 1975 [6 Dec 1974] 52783/74 Heading G4N An intruder alarm system comprises intruder sensing means, e.g. a vibration sensor, connected at S, an electrical circuit arranged to operate on signals from the sensing means to produce an alarm signal, an alarm device, e.g. relay RLAI, at a first location and responsive to the alarm signal, testing means including a switchable device SW1 for selectively routing said alarm signal to a further alarm device L1, which may be at another location, and means for providing at the first location a distinctive indication when the system is being tested. Relay RLAI is caused to be de-energized intermittently when intruder is sensed but when the system is under test relay RLAI is deenergized permanently.
