Abstract

1530797 Separating sheets; dispensers BAMPAL MATERIALS HANDLING Ltd 9 June 1976 [5 May 1975] 18660/75 Headings B8R and B8U A pallet dispenser comprises a retaining framework 18 for pallets, a first support means adopted to support a lowermost pallet of a stack of pallets and movable to release the lowermost pallet and a second support means which on, release of the lowermost pallet, supports the pallet above. The support means may be formed by star wheels 9 on shafts 8. Each star wheel has 4 or 5 radial limbs 10 each with a rotatable nylon wheel 11. As the shafts are rotated by a handwheel 15 through a gear box 16 a limb on each wheel 9 moves out of the gap between the decks of the lowermost pallet and the next limb moves in between the decks of the following pallet. An automatic disc brake is attached to the handwheel.
