1530704 Grooming animals L C SCHIMOLER 7 Sept 1976 37043/76 Heading AIM A power operated grooming tool for dealing with matted hair in animals with minimum cutting of the hair comprises a comb having U-section teeth 41-45 housing reciprocating blades 21-25 having cutting edges exposed above the teeth. As shown the blades are in two interdigitated groups 21-23 and 24, 25 which counter-reciprocate; alternatively each tooth may accommodate two counter-reciprocating blades.
