Abstract

1529479 Vehicle strut type suspensions SOC ANON AUTOMOBILES CITROEN 11 Nov 1976 [24 Nov 1975] 46926/76 Heading B7D In a vehicle strut type suspension system a suspension tube 1 is secured to the wheel stub axle by a two part clamp, one part 2b being connected by bolts 3, 4 to a part 2a fixed to the axle, the parts having an interior recess 6 defining two zones of contact 7a, 7b with the tube 1. The tube 1 in its lower region has an external neck 8 which partially accommodates the lower bolts 4, Fig. 4 (not shown), and also facilitates retention of the tube by crushing, Fig. 6. (not shown).
