Abstract

1526780 Moulds for dental crowns MATSUMOTO DENTAL COLLEGE and SUMITOMO CHEMICAL CO Ltd 30 Dec 1975 53223/75 Heading B5A A process for producing dental restorations, particularly crowns comprises placing a wax pattern on to a truncated cone in a metallic ring having a lining of a cushioning material, pouring an investment material into the space surrounding the wax pattern, drying the resultant composite body, melting out the wax pattern, removing the cone, heating at a temperature of 700‹ to 950‹ C. for 20 to 150 minutes to provide a mould, and centrifugally casting a chromium-cobalt and/or nickel alloy in the mould at a temperature of 100‹ to 500‹ C.
