Abstract

1526147 Endless conveyers; shoots COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd 10 June 1977 [22 June 1976] 25882/76 Headings B8A and B8S A belt conveyer 17 can feed material to either a convey 16, or a conveyer 15, according to the position of a mobile double-shoot member 8. The latter is mounted on rollers 1 running on rails, or it may be moved by the action of an endless member (not shown). The member 8 may be powered by hydraulic or pneumatic means 4, or by electrical or prime mover means. The movement may be electrically controlled, remotely or automatically. Sensors may respond to the amount of material in the shoots. Switchover may occur when one shoot is full. Sensors may respond to different types of materials. The member 8 may alternatively have a rotary action.
