Abstract

1525263 Valves ROCKET BOILER INDUSTRY CO Ltd 17 Oct 1975 42616/75 Heading F2V A mixing valve casing 1 has first and second inlet ports 2, 3; a temperature control setting means 9, a valve member 5 movable to control flow through the second port , a slide 6 secured to the valve member and co-operating with the first port to control flow therethrough, the slide having passages 11 therethrough from a mixing chamber 4 to an outlet chamber 12 and being connected to the sensitive section 18 of a temperature sensitive device, another portion, e.g. piston 8 of which is adjustably coupled to the control means 9. The slide may be axially slidable in a bore and may define, with the bore ends mixing chamber 4 and the outlet chamber 12. The thermal sensitive device may extend axially of the bore from the slide through the outlet chamber to an adjusting screw 9 which loads a spring 10 to set the controlled operating temperature.
