1524383 Wall blocks TORVALE HOLDINGS Ltd 11 Aug 1976 [21 Aug 1975] 34712/75 Heading E1B Wall blocks are formed from facing units comprising parallel spaced slabs 11 connected by at least two structures such as 12 in Fig. 1 or the structure shown in Figs. 3, 4, 6 and 7, each bridging the gap between slabs and including an elongate member 18, 19 etc. having a hook formation at each end including a 1st portion 22, a 2nd portion 23 at right angles to it and a 3rd portion 24 inclined at an angle to the second portion, at least the first portion being embedded in one of the slabs at or adjacent an edge and the third portion abutting a face of the slab at least at the edge. The slabs may be of woodwool, synthetic foamed plastics fibre glass, plywood or concrete and may be provided with a decorative or protective finish. The connecting structures are of metal or rigid plastics.
