Abstract

1521516 Agricultural subsoiling implement ACRA - PLANT INC 12 Aug 1975 33549/75 Heading A1B A substance such as fertilizer, herbicide or fungicide in solid, liquid or gaseous form (e.g. ammonia gas) is supplied to a tube 38 provided with a pair of lateral outlets 40 which discharge the substance into a space 50 behind a wedge 56 on a share 20 secured to a shank 12; the downwardlyconverging faces 58 of the wedge 56 meet in a common bottom edge 60 and terminate at a rear shoulder 54, and wings 64 on the wedge 56 overlie the space 50. An insulating air space is formed between the share 20 and the shank 12, and reduces the tendancy for the soil to freeze onto the share 20.
