Abstract

1519381 Spray carburetters SOC INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES 17 Feb 1976 [7 March 1975] 06195/76 Heading F1H The flow of secondary air to the main and idling systems to regulate the air-fuel mixture in response to changes in atmospheric temperature and/or pressure is controlled by a capsule 23 which positions a valve-member 19 controlling the cross-sectional areas of calibrated openings 15 and 42. The positions of the capsule 23 and the member 43 are adjustable to calibrate the carburetter. Upstream of the openings 15 and 42 the chamber 17 is connected to the atmosphere through a passage 18 or a passage 18a to the carburetter inlet 3.
