Abstract

1515185 Knitting-machines VYZKUMNY A VYVOJOVY USTAV ZAVODU VSEOBECNEHO STROJIRENSTVI 13 Aug 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 33756/75 Heading D1C The cylinder cams of a circular knitting machine are provided on blocks 6 separately detachable from a carrier ring 1, each block being connected at its lower part 7 to the carrier 1 as by a screw 12 and engaging by openings formed therein with locating pins 4, 5 projecting from the carrier. The body 13 of the block 6 may either abut the carrier directly as shown or a raising cam 21 may be extended downwardly between the body and carrier and may have the pin-receiving holes formed therein. The block and carrier may engage by complementary cylindrical surfaces or by flat surfaces, the carrier then being provided round its circumference with a flat surface for each block. Each block may carry the cams of one feed, e.g. a stitch cam 19 and raising cam 21, which may be adjustable. The successive blocks may be slightly spaced round the carrier 1.
