Abstract
1513511 Comminuting refuse BUREAU DE RECHERCHES GEOLOGIQUES ET MINIERES 17 March 1976 10694/76 Heading B2A Refuse is separated in a grate 2 into oversize tailings and wanted material which is preliminarliy screened at 5. The coarse material is shredded at 8 and iron is removed by a magnetic separator 10. The fines from screen 5 are comminuted by a mill 17 together with non ferrous material from separator 10, again screened at 19 and a further magnetic separation process effected at 22. Fines from screen 19 are pumped as a slurry to a further separating process 27, 30. The cut-off valves for coarse and fine material are chosen to be compatible with the smallest size acceptable for impact pulverizing and shredding and for crushing and. flattening in the bar mill.
