Abstract

1511831 Valves J E WITT 16 April 1975 [16 April 1974] 16588/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division B8] A dust cap for a valve comprises a cupshaped member 1 into the base of which a transparent plastics lens 2 snaps to retain an indicating disc 12 which may be marked with, e.g. a required tyre pressure or be provided for decorative purposes. The disc can be attached by adhesives. The cap has a ring 5, for attachment to the valve stem, and retaining strap (7).
