Abstract

1507432 Rotary mower MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG GOTTMADINGEN 8 July 1976 [14 July 1975] 28504/76 Heading A1F The mower has cutter elements 8 which are mounted on disc 7 for rotation about a vertical axis and is characterised by a ground support -comprising an annular plate 11 and an inner plate 15 adjustable in height relative to the cutting elements. The inner plate is mounted for rotation about a shaft 13 which is vertically movable in a sleeve 5 to be secured at different heights by the use of spacers 19 placed between a shoulder 17 fixed to the gear casing and a bolt 22 screwed to the shaft. A slot in the shaft accommodates the horizontal drive shaft 3. In an embodiment the drive is through a horizontally mounted pulley and the inner plate is spring biassed for vertical movement.
