Abstract

1505681 Delivering sheets MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG - NURNBERG AG 29 July 1975 [1 Aug 1974] 31785/75 Heading B8R Sheets are delivered from a rotary printing- machine 2, Fig. 1, to a stack 6 by means of a plurality of grippers 20 carried on a pair of endless chains 16, Figs. 1 and 2, the chains passing over a delivery drum 17, and over pairs of chain wheels 19, 18, and the straight runs of the chains are supported on guides 21-26, the surfaces 28 of the guides facing the chains being convex in the direction of chain movement. The guide 21 is provided with adjustable fingers 30, 31. The curved parts of the chain runs are supported on guides as 27. The guides 21-26 are rectangular in crosssection, and their apices are at their centres.
