Driving-gear.-To vary the piston stroke in an aircraft engine having rotating cylinders and a stationary crank-shaft, the big ends of the connecting-rods embrace an adjustable eccentric c mounted on the crank-pin. The position of the eccentric is controlled by hand-actuated mechanism comprising a spindle d<1> and toothed wheels d, c<1>, the wheel c' being secured to the eccentric.
