1499087 Firefighting foaming composition G ROTUAND 18 May 1976 [16 July 1975] 20401/76 Heading A5A A foaming composition for firefighting comprises an alkyl sulphate, an alkanol and an alkyl aryl sulphonate and is free from alkanol amide. The alkanol is preferably isobutanol, the sulphate preferably C 12 alkyl sulphate of an alkali or alkaline earth metal or ammonia and the sulphonate a C 12 -C 22 alkyl benzene sulphonate of an alkali or alkaline earth metal, or triethanolamine.
