1494250 Drive units for washing machines MIELE & CIE 11 Sept 1975 [21 Dec 1974] 37343/75 Heading H2A A drive unit for a washing machine comprises an induction motor for the washing operation and a series-wound motor for spin drying, the brush holders 2 for the brushes 1 of the serieswound motor being supported in resilient mounting members 6. In the arrangement shown the members 6 are formed of silicone rubber and are secured to an end-plate (not illustrated) of the series-wound motor by means of clips 7.
