Abstract
1493786 Anode material comprising γ MnO 2 M D KOCHERGINSKY L F PENKOVA and V A NAUMENKO 6 July 1976 28127/76 Heading H1B A paste-like composition suitable for fabrication into a positive electrode of an airdepolarized alkaline primary cell having a viscous electrolyte which composition comprises synthetic γ-manganese dioxide, carbon (e.g. acetylene black) and a conductive solution (e.g. potassium hydroxide). The positive electrode formed from the composition may have a porosity of 8À5 to 40% and may be used in conjunction with a zinc cathode.
