Abstract

1493560 Films containing glass fibres; laminates FORBO-KROMMENIE BV 7 May 1976 [22 May 1975] 18915/76 Heading B5N Laminates suitable as floor or wall-lining material are formed from a carrier coated with a dispersion of thermoplastic material in a plasticizer and a suitably printed transparent foil of thermoplastic materials especially PVC or polyethylene, containing 1-10% by wt. of total foil of glass fibres. The carrier material may be coated with a dispersion of a thermoplastic material including a foaming agent and the ink used for printing the foil may contain a foam inhibitor or accelerator so that when laminated product is caused to foam an embossed surface is achieved. Suitable carriers include asbestos paper, and textile or jute felt.
