Knobs and terminal ornaments. - Knobs, terminal ornantents, &c. are attached to curtain and other tubular rods by spring sheet - metal frames inserted in the ends of the rods and held in place by axial screws on the knobs. The screw b engages a threaded hole in the inner end c of the spring frame c<1>the ends of which are bent and slotted to bear against the end of the knob a. In a modification, the screw passes through a plain hole in the end of the spring frame and engages a nut arranged between side wings on the spring frame-
