1491457 Anti-hypertensive preparations SANDOZ Ltd 16 Dec 1974 [19 Dec 1973] 54158/74 Heading A5B Anti-hypertensive compositions and twocomponent packs for preparing such compositions comprise (a) a 3-hydrazino - 5, 6, 7, 8 - tetrahydropyrido [4, 3-c] pyridazine or a 3 - hydrazino - cycloalkane [c] pyridazine and (b) a beta. - blocking agent. The beta - blocking agent may be of formula: or R" O CH 2 CH (OZ) CH 2 NHR 9 ' wherein R is a radical containing at least one 6 - membered aromatic ring by which it is bound to the rest of the molecule, R 9 is C 1-5 alkyl, R" is 4 - moloyl, 4 - methyl - 4 - indolyl, 4 - oxindolyl or 9 - fluorenon - 4 - yl, Z is H or an aliphatic acyl radical and R 9 ' is C 1-5 alkyl. Many examples of both active ingredients are specified.
