Abstract

1488226 Alpha-numeric display DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 22 Jan 1976 [22 Jan 1975] 2486/76 Heading G5C [Also in Divisions H1 and H2] A liquid crystal display device comprises a display member 4 mounted on one side of a printed circuit board 10, a semi-conductor device 13 mounted on the other side 10c of the board and connecting means 11 connecting the printed circuit to the electrodes (not shown) of the display. Part of the display may be accommodated in a recess 10a into which the semiconductor device 13 may also protrude. The connectors 11 and the printed circuit may be of conductive rubber, the connectors 11 being pressed or moulded in place; or the printed circuit may be etched.
