Abstract

1484216 Web pin feeds HONEYWELL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ITALIA SpA 22 Sept 1975 [27 Sept 1974] 38736/75 Heading B8R A web feeding device includes two sprocketed web drive units which engage the web 14 both upstream and downstream of a roller 11, the roller 11 being driven, by a mechanical coupling with the units, so as to advance the web at a greater speed than the units. The units as shown are pin tractors 15, 16 which are slidable along shafts 23, 25 to accommodate different web widths. The coupling is preferably a rubber belt.
