1482692 Cooled gas turbine rotor blades GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 23 Sept 1974 [24 Sept 1973] 41272/74 Addition to 1402391 Heading F1T [Also in Division B3] A fluid-cooled gas turbine rotor blade 10 comprises a blade core 12 having a plurality of grooves 13 and a skin 11 in accordance with Specification 1402391 the material selected for temporarily occupying the grooves during manufacture does not actively alloy with the material selected for the skin and the core material, and the core surface is covered by at least one rigid layer of material selected for the skin.
