Abstract

1480896 Roller blinds UNILEVER Ltd 23 Aug 1974 [23 Aug 1973] 39984/73 Headings A4B A blind roller 18 is supported at one end by a first bracket 1 with holes 4, 5 facilitating optional ceiling or wall fixing and with a cruciform aperture 7 to receive a flat spigot 20 of a detent mechanism 19 fitted to one end of the roller, and at the opposite end by a second bracket 8 also having fixing holes 4, 5 and including a slot with one open end, the slot being inclined at 45 degrees to the plane of a top fixing flange 3 and serving to receive a circular section spigot 15 at the opposite end of the roller. The roller is spring-biased to the rolled up condition. The circular section spigot 15 may be retained in the slot by a pin passed through aligned holes at the mouth of the slot. The spigot 15 is carried by an end cap 13 having a pointed spigot 16 for engagement in the roller end.
