Abstract
1479192 Measuring weight electrically W&T AVERY Ltd 19 Sept 1975 [19 Sept 1974] 40821/74 Heading G1N The invention relates to electrical weighing apparatus subject to hysteresis wherein the deviation from true weight is stated to follow a square low relationship, with zero value at no load and maximum load, and is positive for increasing loads and negative for decreasing loads. The apparatus has a known maximum load value and a predetermined maximum hysteresis deviation. A mathematical expression is obtained for the hysteresis error, dependent on whether the load is increasing or decreasing, based on the last calculated hysteresis deviation for a load, and a logic sequence network is shown in Fig. 2 to calculate the hysteresis for a new load, including means for determining whether the load is increasing or decreasing and for ensuring that the hysteresis deviation at no load and full load is zero.
