Abstract

1478479 Electrostatic developing apparatus XEROX CORP 22 Oct 1974 [23 Oct 1973] 45584/74 Heading G2H An electrostatic developing apparatus includes one or more sets of developer applying means, each including a movable applicator, such as magnetic brush roller 74, and sealing means 76 which can prevent stray developer from escaping, during development from the enclosure formed by its housing 68 and photo-conductive surface 12. Preferably there are end seals of polyethylene foam at the ends of the housing 68 and a brush seal along the top edge of the housing.
