Abstract

1478053 Fluidizing KOCKUMS MEKANISKA VERKSTADS AB 26 June 1974 [2 July 1973] 28462/74 Heading B8A A device for fluidizing material in a container, conduit or channel comprises a base plate covered on one side by air permeable fabric which is connected around its periphery to the base plate to define an air space to receive pressurized air pulses from a pulsator, the base plate being formed to and mounted on an inside surface of the container, conduit or channel. In Fig. 5 two such devices are shown at 18 mounted on the inner curved surface of a hopper 15. Pulses of pressurized air are produced by a pulsator (not shown) attached to tube 13. A further such device 19 is also provided along the bottom of the discharge channel 17 and provided with air pulses via pipe 22.
