Abstract
1477444 Rotary distributor ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 20 Feb 1976 [22 Feb 1975] 6740/76 Heading H1N In a rotor 29 Fig. 3 for the distributor of an internal combustion engine having a centrifugal electrode 22 supported for radial movement on an insulating sleeve 20, 21 against the action of a spring 25, a weight 23 is detachably mounted on the sleeve 20, 21 by a spring clip 10 to lower the engine speed at which the electrode 22 engages the earth electrode 32. The spring clip 10 may be bent up from wire to engage a circumferential groove (24) Fig. 2 (not shown) of the weight 23 and has arms (15, 16) engageable behind the flange 21 of the sleeve 20. In a modification the weight 45 Fig. 4 is riveted or snap fitted to a clip 40 of spring plate having a disc 41 engageable with the end of the sleeve 20 and arcuate arms 43, 44 engageable behind the flange 21.
