Abstract

1474533 Rotary cultivators C VAN DER LELY NV 24 May 1974 [28 May 1973] 22175/76 Divided out of 1474532 Heading A1B A rotary cultivator is as set out in the parent Specification (Application 1474532) but the claims are directed to a beam 23 (for carrying ridging bodies 27) which is connected to a frame 1 of the cultivator via arms 18 pivotally mounted as at 19 on the frame 1, characterised in that the arms 18 are adjustable upwardly or downwardly in respect of the pivots 19 by securing a bolt 22 mounted on it to any one of a number of slots (21) Figure 2 (not shown) which are equidistant from the centre of the pivots 19 and provided on sector plates 20, thereby to provide upward or downward adjustment of the beam 23 relative to the pivots 19. The beam 23 is also angularly tiltable about an axis defined by bolts 26 by means of bolts 25 adjustable in slots 27A, the bolts 25, 26 being mounted on strips 24 connected to the arms 18. The beam 23 also comprises adjustably clamped holders 29 each of which comprises a set bolt to vertically adjust brackets 28 which carry the ridging bodies 27 of the cultivator.
