Abstract

1474325 Applying oil to roller XEROX CORP 3 April 1975 [5 April 1974] 13627/75 Heading B2L [Also in Division F2] In a xerographic copying machine the backing roller 18 is stiffened at its ends by inserts 92 and the fuser roller 16 is heated by a quartz lamp 24 and charged with silicone oil by an applicator pad 48 which is pressed by a spring and supplied with oil from a pan 50 by a motor driven applicator roll 52. The rollers may be covered with layers 22, 34 of P.T.F.E.
