Abstract
1473042 Reciprocating pumps COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE 1 April 1975 [1 April 1974] 13300/75 Heading F1A [Also in Divisions B1, F2 and G1] A device for transferring reagent from a container 65 to analysis test-tubes comprises a piston 67 reciprocatable in a chamber 68 by application of excess pneumatic pressure at one or the other side of part 69, the upper end of chamber 68 communicating with the barrel of a pneumatically actuated slide valve 74 having recess 78 for passage of reagent, ring seals 77 providing sealing tightness for forming compartments along the bore of the slide valve, the movement of the sliding member of the valve and piston 67, 69 being controlled by means of a pneumatic programming mechanism, and a duct 66 providing for passage of reagent from the container 65 to chamber 68.
