Abstract
1472491 Enzyme preparation of waste water MAX - PLANCK - GES ZUR FORDERUNG DER WISSENSCHAFTEN eV 16 May 1975 [17 May 1974] 20807/75 Heading C1C A process for purifying waste water comprises the addition of enzymes, which are obtained from bacteria contained in waste waters and/or enzyme preparations for detergents. The enzymes may be prepared by destruction of the cell walls of the micro-organisms. The waste water includes sewage and drainage water. Sources of nutrition, such as carbon (e.g. carbohydrates and/or amino acids) may be added to the water water, which may have additional oxygen added, e.g. by aeration.
