1472060 Fluid filter B FOOT and T W FOOT 19 Feb 1975 [28 Nov 1973] 55096/73 Headings BID and BIT A fluid filter comprises a bed of bags (5) of fluid permeable tissue, each bag containing granular filtration material (6) and a fluid permeable housing (3) enclosing the bed. The bags may be sandwiched between two layers of fluid permeable resilient padding (4) held in light compression within a frame (1 and 2). The tissue may be paper tissue having sufficient thermoplastic resin content to render it heat scalable. The padding may be polyester fibre.
