Abstract

1469244 Control of D.C. motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 11 April 1974 [19 April 1973] 16155/74 Addition to 1395659 Heading H2J The motor control system described with reference to Fig. 1 of Specification 1,395,659 is modified by connecting the saturable reactance 21 between the diodes 19, 20 and connecting a tapping 27 on the midpoint of the reactance to the junction of thyristors 13, 15. This arrangement ensures that the choke 21 is saturated in the same direction by braking current flowing from point 27 to 28 and armature idling current flowing from point 26 to 27 during driving. Operation of the circuit is otherwise the same as for Specification 1,395,659.
